Activities:

• All matters concerning Trade & Commerce.
• Matter concerning Promotion of Exports.
• All matters concerning Land Customs Stations (LCS) / Integrated Check Post (ICP).
  • There are six (6) LCSs namely Jaigaon, Changrabandha, Hllli, Mahadipur Ranaghat Ghojadanga and two (2) ICPs namely Fulbari and Petrapole. Both passengers & Cargo Vehicles for import and export pass through these LCS/ICPs.
• All matters concerning implementation of West Bengal Trade Promotion Organisation (WBTPO) agreements.
  • Govt. of West Bengal has decided to make Milan Mela Complex into an International Standard Convention Centre (ISCC), which is maintained by West Bengal Trade Promotion Organisation (WBTPO). It was made to hold different export related Trade Fair/Exhibition/Show in State/ National/International level organized by Government Bodies/Private Organisations/Other Organisations by giving the rent to that.
• Assistance to States for Infrastructure Development of Exports (ASIDE) & newly launched Trade Infrastructure for Export Scheme (TIES) Schemes.
• Participation in Fairs, Exhibitions and Seminars.
• Matters concerning India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).
