West Bengal Government Press, Kadapara

It was established in 1968 as a new Press for Printing Works of the Legislature, High Court etc. at Kadapara, 46/1, Narkeldanaga Main Road, Kolkata - 700 054.

Presently known as West Bengal Government Press, Kadapara headed by the Superintendent, Govt. Printing (4 Units), it is also the headquarter of the following presses (4 Units):

• Secretary to the Governor's Press, Raj Bhavan, Kolkata.
• West Bengal Government Press, Coochbehar.
• West Bengal Government Press, Kadapara.
• West Bengal Government Press, Darjeeling.
  • It has been handed over to the Gorkha Territorial Administration in the year 2015.

Activities:

• Printing Works of the Legislature, High Court, other courts and different Govt. Departments.
• Important printing assignments undertaken by the Press are as follows:
  1. Budget Speeches of different departments.
  2. The Kolkata Gazette.
  3. Secret / Confidential Publications.
  4. Standard and non-standard forms.
  5. Annual Reports of Departments.
